The cup of iced coffee is taken from the coaster.
My contained emotions have been forgotten.
Desperately hoping we could go back in time
And, as usual, you can see it plainly on my face.
The most lovely moments did not happen on rainy days.
During such times, we took shelter under the eaves from the rain. Our memories painted a picture
As we sit on the swings, our dreams soon disappear.
You insist that if we continually forsake love, we will progress.
For how are we to halt the passing of time?
With the tip of your finger, you silenced my goodbyes.
I picture the moments before you vanished entirely from my life.
You believe that if we slowly reject love, we will grow.
Perhaps destiny would have us meet.
And let us cherish this season.
I realise after the fall: How can I pick up these shattered bits of happiness?
